Lifestyles
At Pine Village we celebrate and support independence. We take pride in offering you the privacy of your own home and the freedom to spend time as you choose, while leaving the rest up to us. You can finally say goodbye to yard work and home maintenance and focus on spending time on the things that make you happy. You will have the opportunity to take advantage of our Wellness Center. Activities at the Wellness Center include strength and exercise classes, book clubs, game nights, potlucks, bus trips to restaurants and attractions, plus much more. You can do as much, or as little as you choose. Come surround yourself with new friends and a welcoming community.
Designed for those that require a little more assistance with everyday activities, but still want to live an independent lifestyle. Our assisted living suites are catered to your individual needs. We offer as much or as little assistance as you need. You will receive all your meals, housekeeping, as well as, medication management. Become part of a close knit neighborhood full of family and friends, and enjoy life without worrying about the little things. A variety of activities and outings are available for you to enjoy.
Pine Village’s friendly and professional staff provide residents with full nursing care based on each individual’s needs. With Christian love, the staff is dedicated to bringing a sense of well-being, privacy and dignity to the residents.
For individuals seeking a temporary stay, Pine Village offers short-term and long-term skilled care to those requiring therapy after surgery or another event.
Pine Village also offers Adult Day Care services. This is for those who are physically, mentally, socially, or emotionally impaired and need daytime supervision.
For your loved one with Alzheimer’s or certain types of dementia, Pine Village provides personalized care in Meadowbrook, our secure neighborhood. Meadowbrook offers 14 private rooms, each with their own half-bath. There is a living room, kitchen, gathering room and outdoor courtyard for residents and their family or friends to enjoy.
Pine Village works on the philosophy that less medication is better, which is why we were the first in the state to implement the non-medication based program of Behavior-Based Ergonomics Therapies (BBET) in 2012. BBET manages and reduces behaviors associated with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The comforting and stimulating therapies are not group exercises. These exercises are selected based on each individual’s needs and interests. The therapies have resulted in a reduction of resident falls and decrease in the use of psychotropic medications.
BBET has been recognized nationally for it’s success. Pine Village received the Excellence in Innovation Award from LeadingAge Kansas in 2013.
